Operated by AngloAmerican. According to a 2014 study of the University of Barcelona, Brazil is raked 3rd in enviromental conflitcts. This mining project has been maped by the University of Minas Gerais as the most import environmental conflict currently present in the state.

20% of sales goes to mining communities and initiatives to foster actions to improve mining communities. The remaining amount covers production cost and funds the continuation of this project and all the research involved.
